Tasks
- Customization & Automation: Implement Macros (VBA) or utilize CATIA CAA (Component Application Architecture) to automate repetitive, complex design operations.
- Data Management & Integration: Support and manage the integration of CATIA V5 with PDM/PLM systems (e.g., TCIC/Teamcenter) in close cooperation with IT department.
- Methodology Development: Defining, documenting, and implementing new & best-practice design methodologies for CAx teams.
- Training & Mentoring: Develop, maintain, and update documentation regarding application usage, standards, and best practices and train user.
- Application Support & Maintenance: Provide end user support for CAx, ensuring smooth operation of software and tools.
- Process Improvement: Developing and deploying automation tools to streamline design processes. Collaborate with other departments to optimize design workflows. Analysis of existing PLM processes, identification and implementation of optimization potential.
Profile
- Experience in process and methodology development and implementation.
- Expertise in CATIA V5: In-depth knowledge of various workbenches, KBE (Knowledge-Based Engineering), Part Design, Assembly Design, Drafting, and Surface Design.
- PLM/CAD Integration: Experience with data management systems (Siemens Teamcenter, 3DExperience).
- Knowledge in AI tools beneficial.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of programming languages such as C++ (for CAA) or VBScript/CATScript for automation.
Soft Skills: Strong communication skills for supporting users and problem-solving abilities
