Logistics Planner Transport

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the strategic planning and harmonization of transport activities across subsidiaries and regions, setting performance standards and KPIs,
• Optimizing the use of the transport network and resources on a global scale,
• Ensuring compliance with international regulations,
• Fostering collaboration among stakeholders
• Leveraging data and technology for continuous improvement, and managing risks to maintain a resilient and competitive logistics framework that supports the group’s long-term growth and customer satisfaction goals

Qualifications

• Secondary Education (High School Level): Vocational training in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
• Minimum 5 years experiences in freight logistics field

• Confident communication English skills
• German language skills an advantage
• Problem solving thinking
• System approach
• Analytical thinking
• SAP knowledge an advantage
• Knowledge of Excel

Profile

• Presentation and coordination of supply and transport network planning between BOS plants, suppliers, and customers
• Conducting regular analyses of the freight market to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Adapting the BOS transport network in response to changing external and internal factors to optimize supply reliability and cost efficiency
• Organizing and managing transport tenders, followed by contract negotiations with carriers and service providers
• Performing detailed market analyses for the procurement of external logistics service providers to ensure competitive and quality offers
• Supporting BOS production plants in the selection of service providers and the awarding of transport contracts based on strategic and operational criteria
• Implement and maintain digital tools and transport management systems (TMS) to automate route planning, shipment tracking, and data analysis
• Collaborate with IT and external vendors to integrate new digital solutions, such as real-time tracking, and AI-based forecasting, into the transport network
