Customer Quality Engineer (m/f/d)

Tasks

• Direct contact for all quality issues during the project phase.
• Implementation of the quality planning for the BOS end product.
• Coordination of all quality-related aspects in the project team, communication of the same to the PSQE and communication of all supplier-side quality-related aspects in the project team.
• Planning and preparation of customer sampling (sampling coordination meeting) as well as creating and merging all relevant documents and forwarding them to the BOS production plant.
• Examination of all quality-related requirements of the SOR.
• Participation in the risk analyses RA0 and RA1.
• Participation in the definition/coordination of critical drawing characteristics (special characteristics agreement, BMV), creation of new and changed component parts BoMs in the ISPO + sampling portal.
• Definition of the scope for testing, product auditing and requalification with the customer.
• Participation in drawing reviews and in the creation of FMEAs & defect analyses before SOP.
• Participation in change management (ECO), ensuring the flow of information to / from the PSQE / supplier, evaluation of the measures to be implemented.
• Evaluation and approval of prototypes and pre-series products before delivery to customers.
• Coordination of the measurement concept to be used for the end product with the customer and with the BOS plant.
• Definition of requirements for test equipment and gauges for single components together with PSQE and the plant.
• Planning and support in preparing the release of the series process in the BOS plant according to customer requirements (Run@Rate, 2TP, VDA 6.3 process audit, etc.).

Profile

• At least 5 years of experience in the automotive sector with a focus on quality planning.
• Knowledge of customer-specific requirements and IATF Sanctioned Interpretations for customers such as BMW and the VW Group.
• Proven experience in applying automotive core tools (8D, RGA / APQP, SPC, VDA 2 / PPAP, VDA 5 / MSA).
• English proficiency sufficient for professional communication with customers.
• Nice to have: Six Sigma or Red X training, auditor qualification according to ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / VDA 6.3.
