Senior EDI Specialist (m/f/d)

Tasks

• Implementation of EDI connections with suppliers.
• Support of external partners and internal departments in all EDI-related topics and technical issues.
• Monitoring, analysis and maintenance of the EDI system.
• Error analysis and development of measures to improve service quality and system availability.
• Independent execution of projects and coordination of external service providers.
• Onboarding of suppliers for EDI connections.
• 1st and 2nd level support for employees and customers in EDI-related issues.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting of existing EDI partnerships within the EDI system.
• Ensuring continuous and highly available system operation through monitoring, error analysis and system optimization.
• Maintenance, optimization and standardization of EDI rules and workflow.
• Gathering and analyzing requirements for onboarding new EDI partners.
• Coordination and tracking of EDI-related projects in cooperation with internal departments.
• Coordination of communication between EDI service providers and local EDI specialists.
• Technical implementation of partner connections, including: message retrieval in SAP, data conversion from SAP to EDI, maintenance and configuration of message rules within the EDI system.

Profile

• Ideally 5+ years of experience in administration and operation of Seeburger BIS 6 or comparable EDI systems.
• General experience in IT and/or IT support.
• Experience working with SAP R/3 or comparable ERP systems.
• Knowledge of at least one scripting, programming or database language.
• Ideally experience with Seeburger BIC pseudocode for adapting EDI mappings.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server administration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in an international team environment.
• Experience working with ticket systems (ideally OTRS).
